About Walloon Realty, LLC

Founded by Jim Kerr, Walloon Realty LLC is a full service brokerage devoted entirely to the promotion of Walloon Lake real estate. Jim’s family first summered at Walloon Lake in 1963 and it was love at first sight. Commuting every possible weekend from Grosse Pointe and continuing through college at MSU, Jim’s love of Walloon became a life long passion. After spending 3 years in Colorado and New Mexico working for Chrysler Corp., Jim returned to Michigan to begin a 21 year retail automotive career, and continue his commutes to the family cottage at Walloon Lake. In 1999, Jim sold his interest in a national leasing company and moved to Petoskey with wife Linda and daughters Kristy and Laura to begin a new career in real estate specializing in Walloon Lake properties.
